Here is a brief explanation of some
of the questions you may have about WWWBoard.
Can I put html tags
in my posts?
Yes. You can use HTML tags but only
in the body of the message.
Who are Sharon & Peter
anyway?
Sharon and Peter are the proprieters
(aka guinea pigs) of the RTW Honeymoon.
Why are there colons
in the message when I try to post a comment?
Colons appear in the message dialog
box when you try to followup up on a message to indicate
that those lines are quoting the previous document.
If I can't figure
it out, whom do I email?
Try emailing Peter
at pbh@peterherrick.com. He spawned the damn thing, hold
him responsible.
Why didn't my post
show up?
Most likely because your browser
did not reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache.
In other words, your computer has saved a copy of the page
on your harddrive so it doesn't have to go back to the internet
if you want to see it again. This is fine for many pages,
but since these pages change, you have to tell the computer
to get a fresh copy. Please reload your browser (control-r
on a pc, or Open-Apple-r on a Mac (also called 'refresh'))
and it should appear.
Is Sam, Peter's little
brother, really a dork?
Huh? He's a 'little brother' isn't
he? What kind of question is that?? Next question please....
Where can I get
the scripts for this program?
The scripts are written in Perl
and created by Matt Wright. It has been manipulated by
Peter for use here, but Matt wrote it. This basic script
and many others are free to anyone who wishes to use them
and you can get them at: http://worldwidemart.com/scripts/.
