India: Our first stop. We fly into Delhi for some exploring in the northern regions, Dharamsala, Agra, Bod Gaya, and the Taj Majal.
Nepal: Overland from India. We plan on some longer treks.
Thailand: Fly into Bangkok and head immediately West.
Cambodia: Stop through quickly to see Ankor Wat.
Vietnam: The length of it, South to North via train with lots of stops.
Laos: Crossing from Vietnam back to Northern Thailand.
Thailand: Another month exploring before flying back out of Bangkok.
China: In and out of Hong Kong. From Kunming to Chengdu to Beijing.
Mongolia: A brief side-journey from Beijing, but out of the city.
Bali: Exploring the island with a side-trip to:
Java: Depending on the politics when we're there.
Australia: Into Sydney and out of Brisbane with the Eastern Seaboard in between, including a jaunt up to Cairns to scuba dive.
New Zealand: Into Christchurch and out of Auckland. Like to do some trekking, but it'll be wintertime there.
USA: Back home, with a brief stop in California. In Maine for Labor Day, 2002.
